4th of July festivities this year were located in Parowan. We had a family reunion there all weekend and it was pretty dang fun. It's a family tradition to decorate and ride bikes in the town parade - Luke and his siblings all had many stories to tell about their memories doing this. It was fun to see all their kids now participating. This was Ty's first parade and he thoroughly enjoyed it. He waved at each and every person that cheered for us - he and I were like our own little float because all the other kids were older and riding their bikes faster and much further ahead of us...so there we were, just Ty and me, walking down the road together and waving at the parade watchers.

Ty, Daltyn, Ryley, Adelyn and Brinley waiting their turns to go!

The Veaters brought this HUGE water slide for the kids to play with - it was a hit and I was a little jealous I couldn't try it out.

We also had the town pool reserved for just us for some time on Saturday. Many a graceful dive was performed by all, including Grandma - gainers, flips, bellyflops, what have you.

This is me and my adorable nephew Daltyn. He is a big ol' teddy bear.
