We have awesome friends. The Dyrengs invited us to go boating and hang out in Gunnison for the day. Since we pretty much had absolutely nothing to do, we were all for it. And it was a blast.
After the adults had some fun on the Super Mable, Jaycee and I decided to take Ty for a ride. We all got loaded on, Luke snapped a couple of pictures. The wind started to blow. It was no big deal. You can tell in the picture that Gracy (the little girl) is getting a little nervous, but Jayce and I assured her we were just fine...famous last words. Right after this picture was taken the wind picked up the nose of Mable and FLIPPED US! That's right - off we went, heels over head (backwards), baby and all, into the water - before we'd even gone for a ride! After a tense few seconds of trying to get Ty out from under the flipped tube and above the water's surface, we were all AOK. After we got back in the boat and warmed up, Ty would point at Mable and say "Scary." Poor kid, probably scarred him for life....hopefully not. AND IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT JAYCEE, SO YOU'D BETTER NOT EVER APOLOGIZE AGAIN! Dang wind.
After boating, we took a Jeep ride out to the farm to see the baby cows, turkeys, chickens, peacocks and...
...the tractor.
They climbed in it, rode on it and drove it.
I had two very happy boys.
