For some reason, February is brutal to us. It's the toughest month for us to get through mentally, health-wise and all-around. Except for that fact that Ty made his appearance into our family during that month, February stinks. This year, however, there was some improvement.

The second most fun we had in February was making brownies and licking the bowl and spoon and beaters and countertop....

The best thing we did in February was a trip to Yucca Valley and Palm Springs. We went along with my parents and spent Day 1 at Stacie's softball tournament in Palm Springs. We got sunburnt. It was delightful. We stayed at my Grandma's house in Yucca Valley. Ty celebrated birthday #3 while we were there - Grandma Barbara made him a cake! Monster trucks and Criss Cross Crash were the thing this year.

Day 2 we left the parentals at the softball fields and headed out to explore Palm Springs. Eventually we found our way to the zoo-thing...mostly desert animals, birds, snakes and stuff. The weather was perfectly mild. February isn't sucking so much anymore.

After our Palm Springs experience, we went out to the old city of San Jacinto where I used to live....one word - GHETTO! So glad I reside in the wonderful little town I call home now!

And Ty was impressed by the windmill fields we drove through each day.
